This week at Hare Krishna Valley, we held our monthly working bee over the weekend, which included cutting and stacking 35 tons of wood over 2 days. We received some good help from our friends who came from Melbourne. We also picked more of our butternut pumpkins with the help of Jackie and Dianne, 2 of our friends from Geelong who attended our cooking retreat a month ago. Jackie told us that the vegetarian cooking weekend had a profound affect on her life, and that she has not eaten meat since then.

We then celebrated the appearance of Lord Narshimadeva, the half man half lion incarnation of Krishna. The festival was well attended by 20 of our regular congregational members. The feast was especially memorable.

We look forward to speaking to you again next week.
Until then, I remain yours in the service of Srila Prabhupada.
