We had an enlivening home programme in Geelong last week, which attracted around 30 guests. After a discussion on the Bhagavad Gita, we had a group meditation session. The type of meditation we practice in the Hare Krishna movement is called japa meditation, which refers to the soft chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra on beads.
The renovations are continuing on the Balaram ashram, which is one of our main guest accommodation facilities. We hope to have most of the renovations finished by the beginning of August for our upcoming retreats.
We look forward to speaking to you again next week.
Until then, I remain yours in the service of Srila Prabhupada.
