Last week my wife and I were invited to an old age care facility in the local town of Colac to give a cooking demonstration and to show them how to chant the Hare Krishna mantra. The occupants of the home appreciated the halva and pakoras we prepared for them, as well as our musical performance.
On Sunday we drove to Melbourne to participate in our great chariot festival which is part of the St. Kilda festival. The festival participants were most impressed with our colossal chariot as it made it’s way down Beaconsfield parade.
A dear friend of mine, Vaishnava Charan, was married at the farm on Monday. Both bride and groom enjoyed their marital ceremony against the back drop of the Otway forest.
