On Thursday night we all went to Teshikur’s house in the local town of Deans Marsh to have our regular weekly Krishna Conscious home programme. The speciality of this programme was that we installed the Deities of Gaura-Nitai in her home. In the Hare Krishna movement we worship Krishna, or God, in a Deity form, which is a statue that is created in the image of Krishna as described in the ancient Vedic texts of India.

On Friday night we had our regular monthly home programme in Geelong, which saw 25 devotees and guests enjoy an evening of chanting Hare Krishna, enlightening spiritual discussions and a wonderful feast of vegetarian food offered to Krishna.

On the weekend at Hare Krishna Valley we hosted His Holiness Devamrta Swami, who attracted 60 guests to come and spend a weekend hearing from him about the ancient wisdom of the Srimad Bhagavatam, one of the oldest texts known to man.

We look forward to speaking to you again next week.
Until then, I remain yours in the service of Srila Prabhupada.
